Objective: The purpose of this system is to layout in detail the procedures for conducting an interview for an open position and ensuring OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE every single day regardless of who executes the system. The position responsible for executing this system is the Program Director and Program Manager.

Once a resume is received, do some homework. Review FB and other social media outlets for candidate information. What are the candidate’s interests? What does he/she like to do in her spare time? Whom does he/she network with?

Send the candidate the following pre interview questions via email if a interview screening was not conducted:
a. Tell me about your experience working with children
b. Tell me about any customer service experience you have
c. What is your availability?
d. Are you familiar with our business?
3. Once received, if the candidate is has responded to the pre interview questions with answers that align with our business need, Set up a face to face interview via email, always including the Program Director.
Once an interview is set up, do your homework to get to know as much information as possible about the candidate.
At the interview take time to listen, often candidates will fill the spaces in a conversation with examples. Do not be afraid of the follow up questions, you will usually get the most revealing responses from the follow up questions.

What is there about this opportunity that most excites you?

At the end of the interview always describe the rest of the process. Explain what you will do and when you plan to do it.
