Results Statement: The purpose of this system is to ensure that every team receives the same consistent training, no matter the level or age group.  This provides success for every team and ensures the Quantum Way is set.

 

  • All teams are required to have a practice plan set for every practice
    • They must be written on the provided practice plan in the drive ahead of practice.
    • After practice should be hole punches and filed into the teams practice binder
  • Team Notes:
    • On the back sheet of the practice plan for the night, each coach needs to write their notes for the evening of practice.  What was good and what was bad
    • In the event you had an issue, please make that note on your end of night report.
  • Every practice the last 10 minutes should be spent journalin
    • Questions should relate to issues at the current time for the team and be reflective.

    • Always put the date at the top of the page before you begin
    • Effort and progression should be tracked each practice
      • Before they begin journaling, on first line effort scale 1-10 how much effort did you give in practice today.  Next line, what did you do today to improve a skill you need work on
  • Benchmark Assignments
    • All benchmark assignments are due the final Thursday of each month or week
    • They should be added to the shared relevant folder on the apple cloud.

  • June:
    • Short clinic to establish ways for the season: tumbling arms, proper clean, jump form, stunting set, stunting clean etc.
    • Uniforms will be ordered
  •  July:
    • Team Choreo
  • August:
    • First full month of practice=Major building month
    • Week 1&2: All teams are to work on FAST stunting guide process to be mastered.
    • Week 3&4:
      • Level 1 Teams:
        • Single Based Thigh Stands
        • Single Based Belly LIbs
        • 1 Elite Variation of this skill
      • Level 2 Teams
        • Prep Straight Cradle
        • Prep Libs
        • Extension
        • 180 to prep

 

BENCHMARK ASSIGNMENT: Submit a video showing the skills you worked on during weeks 3&4.  It only needs to be an attempt, not mastered.

    • September: Continue to work thru stunts, progressing through level appropriate and elite skills for your level
      • Tumbling: All teams should now have synchronized standing & running pass
      • Jumps: All teams should be able to complete high range of score sheet for their division with average to above average technique
      • Stunting: Teams should be able to do 3-5 skills at their level

 

BENCHMARK ASSIGNMENT: Record team doing a jump section in high range, and a sync standing and running pass

  • October: This begins color weeks!! See color week system
    • Sept 29-Oct 5 Orange: Pyramid Run
    • Oct 6-12 Yellow: All Tumbling & All Stunts in same practice
    • Oct 13-19 Green: Run Full Out
    • Oct 20-26 Blue: Hit 1st half & 2nd half
    • Oct 27-Nov 2 Purple: Hit 1 full out + 1 additional full out

BENCHMARK ASSIGNMENTS: Record your attempts each week and upload

  • November: Competition Month
    • FOCUS IS HITTING ROUTINE
    • Start Perfect 10 competition week after first competition
    • First team to hit 10 full outs wins: 2 tries per practice
